Right in the centre of our building is the Art & Design Gallery where we display and sell work from over 30 local Artists and Design/Makers from many different mediums: paint, print, ceramics, textiles, jewellery, knitwear, furniture, mosaics, glassware and more
The space is very light and bright with stunning views over the river into Fitz park and onto Skiddaw and Latrigg behind. Off the main gallery space are 2 of our ‘Permanent Designer/Makers Studios’ so you can see items being made and complete all in the same place!
Artist in Residence: At different times throughout the year we have artists take over the main wall of our gallery for a month at a time to explore a new project or work, often in collaboration with other makers.
