Emma Redfern (Hole House)

Emma Redfern (Hole House)

7th June 2019 by matt

Emma Redfern has been making bags since moving to Cumbria 8 years ago. She is a self taught seamstress and loves to work with natural fibres, especially tweed.  Emma started selling her bags from her Facebook page when her developing fabric addiction required funding and now has a loyal following there, as well as on Instagram.  She also teaches bag making workshops, using her own simple patterns, in the hope that people who have previously been too scared to try sewing bags, might come along and gain the confidence to embark on a new hobby.  Her aim is always to produce beautifully structured, pattern matched and fun bags that elevate the homemade, to the hand crafted.
