Florist For a Day with Sarah Smith of Eden Valley Flowers

An opportunity to spend the morning with Sarah Smith, a fully qualified florist, to learn how to arrange flowers at home and the techniques involved in conditioning and caring of Flowers and Foliage’s.

Sarah is an eco friendly florists of 25 years plus in the field so I will guide you through everything from varieties of flowers to choosing and preparing your containers using eco friendly and sustainable techniques, this means no oasis or single use plastics, so go on have a go and while away a few hours working with beautiful British flowers.

Treat yourself or a friend to a beautiful few hours making an eco friendly floral arrangement, it’s a hands on workshop so you can get creative!

You will be working with either locally grown flowers and foliage collected from Sarah’s great friends Emma and Taff at The fellside flower Company in long marton in the beautiful Eden valley Cumbria or beautiful British grown flowers sourced from flower farms here in the Uk.

Included in the cost of your workshop is a bucket of seasonal flowers and foliage together with an up cycled container, chicken wire, tape/string.

Please bring along either sharp scissors or secateurs and maybe gloves. We have aprons available for participants to use on the day.

You will go away with a beautiful flower arrangement ready to display in your home. Please note, the flowers in the photo may change as all flowers and foliage will be seasonal.
