Join Emma Redfern of Hole House for a full day of sewing to create a beautiful Box Clutch Bag.
The box clutch is a small, hard shelled clutch bag which sits comfortably in your hand and can be used to showcase a fabulous fabric. We start by covering the ready made plastic shells in fabric before stitching the interior hinges and dividing pocket. Finally the bag is assembled and glued into place
Students are required to bring:
– A sewing machine in good working order
– Zipper foot for your sewing machine
– A fat quarter of an outer fabric (canvas or quilt weight. NOT TWEED unless it’s a fine, suiting weight tweed)
– A fat quarter of a lining fabric (quilt weight)
– Matching thread
Please note there is a £15 material charge payable to the tutor on the day.
