Come and make your very own clasp purse, these are so addictive, once you’ve made one you will be making them for all your friends and family! These cute snap frame purses look really tricky, but are actually very simple to make. In the workshop you will learn how to sew a beautiful, lined purse and how to fit it into a metal frame.
You will also get access to the Facebook ‘Stitch-a-long’ Group which has instructions and video tutorials on how to draft a pattern from any frame, gives you some decorative options and another pattern for a different frame. So this half day workshop is really just a starting point for what could become a new sewing obsession.
You will just need to bring a fat quarter of an outer and lining fabric, a fully operational sewing machine and matching thread, everything else will be provided.
(Frame may vary very slightly from photos depending on what is available at the time)
Please note there is a £12.50 material cost payable to the tutor on the day.
Included in the cost of your workshop is lunch from the extremely popular Jans Sandwich shop in Keswick.
The tutor of this workshop is Emma Redfern (Hole House)
