This is a smart looking bag that’s super impressive but equally super easy to make! It’s the bag I always suggest beginner bag makers tackle, for the compliments you will get from your friends as well as the simplicity of making it. It looks great in tweed, but if that’s not your thing you can make this in any upholstery weight fabric or canvas.
You will create an elegant looking tote bag, with a leather handle and a magnetic closure or buckle in the top. The only zip if for a zipped pocket inside if you choose to include it.
You will need half a meter of an outer fabric and lining fabric, all other materials are provided.
Please note there is a £20 material charge payable to the tutor on the day.
Included in the cost of your workshop is lunch from the extremely popular Jans Sandwich shop in Keswick.
The tutor of this workshop is Emma Redfern (Hole House)
