Learn how to manipulate fabrics to create surface texture using a range of fabrics and different manipulation techniques to produce a textured piece of work.
You will learn how to incorporate traditional techniques such as smocking and suffolk puffs and pleating along with innovative methods to create a textures and tucks. These are combined with french knots to create a textured heart.
Please note there is a £12.50 material cost payable to the tutor on the day of the workshop.
Included in the cost of your workshop is lunch from the extremely popular Jan’s Sandwich Shop in Keswick.
