Join Emma Redfern to make this is a cute little cosmetic case, or pencil case, or craft bag … the choice is yours!
It has a metal frame in the top to give it shape and opens wide so you can see exactly what’s going on in there!
It’s a perfect scrap busting project and is also brilliant for gifting, you could even fill it with something lovely before you give it away!
Students are required to bring:
– A sewing machine in good working order
– two pieces of outer fabric measuring 31 x 23cm, a fat quarter should be enough, plus the same of a lining fabric.
– Matching thread
All other materials, including interfacing, interlining, frame and zip will be provided along with metal zipper ends, or leather tabs if we have time!
This class is suitable for those who can confidently use their sewing machine, but does not require any advanced sewing skills as each step will be fully explained in an informal and relaxed way.
Please note there is a £15 material cost payable to the tutor on the day.
Included in the cost of your workshop is lunch from the extremely popular Jans Sandwich shop in Keswick.
The tutor of this workshop is Emma Redfern (Hole House)
