Back for 2024 at the Makers Mill, Mosaic Workshops with Helen Clues!
Birds and fish are one of my favourite subjects for translation into mosaic and we will be working with a variety of mosaic materials, including vintage crockery, coloured glass and ceramic, you will work with the direct method of creating mosaics for interior display.
There will be a choice of projects and during the session you will learn how to plan your design, choose, cut, shape and assemble your piece. In the afternoon we will grout polish and finish our projects. All materials and fixings for hanging your finished piece are included. During this session you can choose to make two projects. You are welcome to bring any crockery of your own to incorporate into your work.
Please note there is a £25 material cost payable to the tutor on the day.
Included in the cost of your workshop is tea and coffee throughout the day, Lunch and afternoon cake.
