Back for 2025 at the Makers Mill, Mosaic Workshops with Helen Clues!
In this workshop we will discover the possibilities of creating stylised landscapes in mosaic. Working with a variety of mosaic materials, including vintage crockery, coloured glass and ceramic, stones, beach finds and other collected treasures, you will work with the direct method of creating mosaics for interior display.
There will be a choice of projects and during the session you will learn how to plan your design, choose, cut, shape and assemble your piece. We will then grout polish and finish the projects in the afternoon. You will have the option to complete one larger piece or two smaller panels. All materials and fixings for hanging your finished piece are included.
Please note there is a £25 material cost payable to the tutor on the day.
Included in the cost of your workshop is lunch, tea and coffee for the duration and afternoon cake.
