Plan your Christmas decorating early and make your own beautiful copper foiled Christmas Tree, complete with a star topper and set in a lovely wooden tealight holder.
Guided by experienced stained glass artist Nikki Clark, you will cut and grind the pieces correctly before applying the thin copper foil and soldering everything together. After carefully adding the star at the top, the whole piece is given a copper patina and polished ready to be put in it’s wooden base and displayed in your home during the festive period.
Nikki will provide everything you need for the day, including glass, use of equipment and other necessary materials for which there will be a materials charge of £35, payable to Nikki at the end of the course.
This course is not suitable for pregnant women or nursing mothers and there will be a Health and Safety briefing, including the use of safety equipment, before the course starts. Please wear old clothes and sturdy boots and bring reading glasses for close up work if you need them.
Please note there is a material cost of £35 payable to the tutor on the day of the workshop.
Included in the cost of your workshop is lunch, tea and coffee throughout the day and cake in the afternoon.

From my Studio in Gilcrux, West Cumbria, I design and make beautiful stained glass windows for private homes and public buildings, as well as small bespoke panels for special occasions.
I also use my kiln to fuse and slump glass which can be incorporated into the more traditional work I do or designed to be decorative glass art pieces for the home.
